We generate a free quote for your work and if you would like to proceed, you can simply “accept” the price quote. You will then be asked to make payment via Stripe before work commences. Once work is finished, you will be asked to “release” your payment.

Price quotes can be broken into smaller, incremental payments as milestones are reached. This is particularly useful for larger, ongoing projects. In this instance, you can pay weekly/monthly, or as key objectives are achieved. If you would like to pay incrementally or weekly/monthly, just ask, and we will be happy to oblige.

Payments are processed via Stripe in USD. We accept all major credit cards.

When a quote is accepted, payment is due, before work commences. However, we are happy to break up quotes into bitesize, manageable amounts. If you would like us to do this, let us know! In addition, it is worth noting that payments are only released once work is finished.

Yes, invoices can be downloaded from within the workroom for each of your projects.

Further, receipts are generated automatically after each payment. Receipts can also be downloaded from within the workroom for each project, or via the “Payments” page, accessible via the menu.

No. There is no minimum for either project hours or project duration. Our developers are ready to take on jobs small and large, and you may scale up/down as you require.

When you submit a project on UpDev, a workroom is created. The entire lifecycle of your project will be managed via this workroom. A new workroom will be created for every new project you submit, thus making it easy to manage multiple projects at once.

Through the workrooms, you will receive quotes and be able to make payments. You can chat with our developers and share files. Files can be tagged and annotated. Further, you will be able to see and manage the status of the project, and much more.

The workroom is divided into four sections:

1. The first tab includes your project brief and any supporting documents added when your project was submitted.

2. The second tab comprises of the chat feed for you to communicate with our developers. You can also send/receive files, in addition to view quotes, pay invoices, manage the project time, and adjust the project status.

3. The third tab brings together all files shared in the chat feed. It is also where you can easily download your final files. Files such as images can be annotated and viewed via this tab.

4. The fourth tab comprises of all payments pertaining to the project. You can release payments, download invoices and more.

The time to completion is the timescale we have mutually agreed is the objective to deliver your project within. We will try our very best to deliver your project as soon as possible.

On occasion, every project has an unexpected complexity that causes delay. While we try to account for unexpected delays in the initial timeframe proposed, some delays are unavoidable. In this instance, we will ask for you to extend the projects’ time to completion.

When a project is completed, you are able to close the project yourself from within the workroom, or we may request the project is completed. You will, of course, be able to open another project whenever you wish.

If we have requested a project be completed, but you would like to continue working with the UpDev team on the project, that is great! You do not need to “accept” a completion request.

When a quote is received, it can be “accepted” and paid within the chat feed via Stripe. You can view all payments and download invoices from inside the “Payments” tab.

When work is delivered, or a milestone is reached, we will ask for you to release payment to the UpDev team.

Files can be uploaded and accessed via the Chat Feed, in addition to managed via the “Files” tab. Here you can view all files shared relating to your project. You can view, comment, annotate, download, and tag all files you and the UpDev team share.
